Escaped inmate found in Rossford area hotel | Crime

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Corrections Commission of Northwest Ohio says an inmate walked away from a work release program in Defiance Thursday, and was apprehended by police hours later. 

The commission says 59-year-old Frank Lee Knott was working at the Defiance Municipal building as part of a work release program when he was reported missing around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Officials say Knott was found in a Rossford area hotel around 6:30 p.m. Thursday and arrested.

Knott had been serving a 6 month sentence at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on drug charges.
